This program is the summary of a nationwide study conducted with information provided by the FBI. The study analyzed the cases of every law enforcement officer killed over a ten year period.

The incident reenactments, produced with the cooperation of eight different law enforcement agencies, have been selected from specific programs in the study to create this summary video.

For new officers this program is an opportunity to become aware of some of the history of police work they must know to stay safe.

For experienced officers the program is a valuable refresher that reminds them of the greatest potential dangers they face so they do not become complacent.
